If you are seeing
1) Data type mismatch error in arjavaplugin.log "(Data type mismatch. Vendor field: 1000000218 is of data type)"
2) Dispatch : Operation cancelled due to error (ARAPPERR 4502) in arerror.log
Ignore this error, as this is known issue and has no impact on the application. This issue got fixed in the later releases.(7.6.04 SP2 or later)

ReplyDeleteThe reported behavior is logged as a defect sw00408205 and got fixed in ITSM 8.0
Upgrade to 8.0 is not an option for us so rhere are somebody having the details on how we can solve in our current version. We get so many warnings in our arjavaplugin.log file that we only have 20 min. log going back all the time, which is not acceptable for us.

Make sure you take the backup of log4j_pluginsvr.xml before modifying the changes.
Change Log Level from Warn to Error in arjavaplugin:
Open log4j_pluginsvr.xml(which can be located at \pluginsvr\log4j_pluginsvr.xml)
Change logger level from "warn" to "error" for the following entry:
Restart the Java plugin server or AR Server. Verify the logging in the arjavaplugin.log in the \db\ directory.
